Held a Master's Degree in Law (LLM) from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Established and, until 2001, headed the Law Offices of Meitar, Liquornik, Geva & Leshem, Brandwein– the third-largest Law firm in Israel. For a period of 12 years served as the Chairman of the Tel Aviv District Bar Association and was a member of the Judiciary Election Committee; was also a founder of the Aurec Communications Group. Zvi Meitar established the Meitar Collection Ltd, and was a regular contributor to cultural activities and universities by means of the Zvi and Ofra Meitar Family Fund.

Holds BA degree in Social Sciences, LLB degree and MA in Political Communications, all from Tel Aviv University. President of the Meitar Collection Co. Ltd; ; President of the Zvi and Ofra Meitar Family Fund; member of Management Committee of the Zvi Meitar Center for Advanced Law Studies; Board director of The Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC); Board member of JFN – Jewish Funders Network. Member of the International Council of the Metropolitan Opera, New York; member of the Israel Bar Association.

Has served as assistant to the direct-general of the Meitar Family Fund since the company's inception in 2003.
