Moroccans in Migdal HaEmek

Description: Migdal Haemek was founded in 1953 as a development town in which the families of Moroccan immigrants were settled. The name “Migdal Haemek”(the Tower of the Valley) was given to this settlement on Independence Day 1953 by the late President Yitzhak Ben Zvi. (Source: The Ark in The Street)
